What is OCD?

OCD stands for Obsessive Compulsive Disorder. This is a type of mental disorder in which the victim suffers from various unwanted and unnecessary thoughts. OCD is generally considered to be caused by deregulation or deficiency of serotonin chemical in the brain. OCD can also be genetically, but mostly comes in the result of excessive stressor: like failure in examination, business failure,financial crisis,relationship, domestic issues, childhood trauma etc.The most common types of OCD are: Checking, Contamination, Mental contamination, Rumination and intrusive thought.
